PROGRAM DETAILS

The course material is available to you online.  Upon sign-up you will gain access to all eight modules; within each module you will find mini-courses, video lectures, quizzes, pdfs, a recommended schedule and an assignment for each module that will deepen your learning experience.

Each module has a medicine making lesson, you can purchase a medicine making package package that will provide you with herbs for five of the lessons.  The lesson on flower essences requires the use of fresh flowers and the last two lessons are herb-drug interactions and formulation so no herbs are required for them.  You are not required to purchase the medicine making package if you have access to your own herbs or do not wish to make the preparations.

There is a hands-on learning option available if you are able and wish to visit Bear Roots to spend time with the plants.  The option is available from May-October, one day per month which will be arranged based on the availability of Tatum and yourself.  This option gives you the opportunity to learn to identify plants throughout the growing season, learn best harvesting practices, work in the gardens and truly gain an appreciate for the plants growing around you!
